We founded the Oriental Cultural and Heritage Preserving Association (Napkelet Kulturális és Hagyományőrző Egyesület)– generally known as the Oriental Association – with the aim to offer and secure the opportunity for the citizens of the Arab countries, who work or have settled here, to live, practice, and pass onto their children their own culture, as well as to assist their integration into local society. Our Association’s main aims and activities are, first and foremost, in the fields of culture, science, dissemination of information, and through these, building and developing relations between our countries.
We plan and organize our programs jointly with the embassies and consulates of these countries in Budapest, thus ensuring the publication and popularization of the above activities.
The Oriental Association is a civil concern working independently from political and economic interest groups, does not engage in politics, and does not provide them with economic assistance.
